The University of Illinois at Chicago and the University of Central Florida are apparently taking National Science Foundation money to try and build virtual reality citizens that will act, talk and react like real people "in a way that is so real you would swear the images were alive." When talking with people about Web 2.0 for a story upcoming in GHIT, a lot of the conversations spent at least some time on the issue of podcasts, iPods and MP3 players.
