As Election Day approaches, the candidates’ health policies are being analyzed even more closely than before. Government Health IT asked its readers if the comparisons between Romneycare and Obamacare successfully distinguish the two. Here are the results.
The majority of respondents said that Americans do care about the differences between the candidates’ plans for healthcare reform.

Thirty-one percent noted that the differences are not yet clear enough to be a factor in the election, whereas only eleven percent said that Romneycare and Obamacare are too similar.
The date range of the survey was May 30, 2012 to August 29, 2012.
