IPAB repeal sparked debate

Government Health IT, Healthcare IT News and Healthcare Finance News have conducted several polls asking readers what they think about the state of healthcare in the 2012 elections. View this slideshow to see the results from these reader surveys. Click on images to enlarge.

The Independent Payment Advisory Board, a component of the Affordable Care Act, is a point of contention surrounding the health reform law. Healthcare Finance News readers were nearly split on the issue. Forty-eight percent of respondents said it should be repealed, while 52 percent said it should not. On March 22, the U.S. House of Representatives passed a bill to repeal IPAB. The date range of this survey was March 12, 2012 to March 26, 2012.
